My PB came on a cold windy day in some shallow water not too far off the main lake. We started off by fishing in a cove as we thought some of the fish have started to move back but after hitting a few different areas we decided to move towards the main lake. Water clarity had a nice green tint with a 8 to 12 inch visibility. This 6.8 lb bass was caught with a shad color OG Rocco that dives to around 5 ft with 10-12 lb flurocarbon. I personally like to spool my Shimano Metanium MGL with Sunline FC sniper. For this technique, I like to use the Shimano Expride B in a 6'10 medium power, moderate action. The shorter length rod allows me to make short accurate cast and the moderate action helps keeps the fish pinned.

Most of the fish were still deep. Water had about 2 feet of visibility. The vegetation is still very dead but a nice 3lb large mouth hit it on the first hop right up next to the vegetation.
