Well it wasn’t what I was fishing for in this case but still a hefty fish to land on a medium-light spinning rod. First rain fell last night and brought the water up just a bit, but still way below the typical water levels. Less people are fishing or boating on the lake these days. Bass are acting a bit lethargic though still.

Fished at the Gallatin steam plant and up river to Bledsoe creek. Found some smaller stripers in 10-15 ft off the end of laydowns close to steep channel ledges. The weather today was classic post-front blue bird conditions. We also caught lots of skipjack in the bay below the steam plant on white and silver spoons.
