The fish are in a post spawn pattern and suspended off of points or around the bridge pilings in Rock Creek. The best technique I found was just casting and letting the worm fall on a slack line while falling through the strike zone. I paired the worm with an 1/8 oz. Round head jig. I also caught a couple nice smallmouth using a red shad Mann’s auger tail worm which I’m not sure are still in production.

7/21/2021, water temp was low 80's. Crappie were slow using soft jigs with crappie candy. White bass were hitting heavy along bluffs where you find schools of shad. Did catch a nice 20" big mouth. Casting towards shore using a two piece silver rattle trap lure. Great day on the lake, hot very little breeze.
