The heavy rains have pushed many large fish up into the Laydowns and other structure in current breaks.

Success with spark shad on smallies along bluff walls near main channel drop offs and in current. Largies were cruising in and out of grass near ledges and flushing shad. Success with flukes or anything weedless you can quick toss up against vegetation walls that are trapping shad around points.

All three species of smallmouth, spotted, and largemouth bass are eating shad as they migrate into shallow waters. Laydowns in current offer great structure for big largemouth.
