TechniqueTexas Rigs (Worming)SeasonSummerStructureFlooded BrushFished the High School World Championship on Pickwick Lake. Conditions were absolutely miserable, as the TVA was pulling almost zero current throughout the tournament. In other words, fishing was not good. I was able to scrounge up a few bites, including this 6lb 8oz traffic cone shaped bass. I caught her in 20ft in a flooded cypress field. It's super important to keep these fish healthy and comfortable in the livewell because the water is so warm. Make sure to use ice and G-juice!
