They lake had been pulled down to winter levels already so it’s close to 2-3 foot lower. Was able to find schools of smaller bass in 8-10 FOW slow rolling a spinner bait with a few pauses during the retrieve. Also was able to pick a few up on a dt-10 and a jerk bait stunna +1 Was able to boat 14 fish in 4 hours.

Fished a kayak tournament last weekend and absolutely hammered the fish after making a move to brush piles. Targeted any structure I could see with a Z-Man Jackhammer and the fishing went from meh to amazing. I ended up catching about 15 keepers (above 12 inches) in the last 2 hours (from 2 PM to 4 PM). I fished quick and tried to hit the windy areas. That made for some frustrating times keeping the kayak in the right spot but I was rewarded with boating fish all afternoon. This is one of my favorite bodies of water after never fishing it until early this summer.
