In the morning they would eat the frog really good and as the day went on they wouldn't After about 1 o'clock they started eating the frog really good again which helped us finish 2nd in this little youth tourney. Just find backwater right off the main channel and fish the current breaks. Just normal river bass fishing.

Went out at sun up and smacked some smallies and largies on topwater. I was throwing a showerblow and my buddy was throwing a super spook. Both of us were getting bit so any walking bait would have probably gotten bit. I swapped the hooks out on mine to try the new mustad hooks and they worked great. Seem to be a very similar hook to what comes in the shower blow. We were throwing them around a current seam for our better bites. Could have also been the lucky USA Omnia hat also but who knows!
