Went out mid morning and caught some frog fishing lily pads! Seemed like the points of the lily pads that had current or wind had the most activity. Could see them chasing baitfish so also pulled a spinnerbait through the open lanes. 🐸 🎣

The river was fishing super tough for the state tournament. Didn’t catch them very well but was just one river school away from winning the deal. They were eating a ton of shad and schooling throughout the day. You just had to find a school that would eat.
