Fun afternoon on pool 4. Only fished for about two hours but it was well worth it with a pile of smallmouth. No giants this time but ran into a couple mega schools of 2-3 pounders. Not bad for early March. The fish were feeding on shad with tails and such in their gut but they weren't saying no to the ned rig. Bases of the rip rap where the rock meets the sand was key. Fish slow but fast until you find them, then hunker down and catch a handful out of the school and repeat. Almost no current right now makes navigating a lot easier and you can lighten up your bait if you get in a snaggy area.
