Fishing ned rigs with orange, green pumpkin, and pb&j colors over wingdams throughout the summer can produce consistent smallmouth fishing. Cast from down-stream and drag/hop the ned rig along the bottom allowing it to maintain contact with the rock as much as possible.

First day of the Phoenix bass fishing league, made a 50 mile run deep into pool 9 and found a small hump with rocks in around 3 feet of water I would slow roll my swim jig to try to roll it on the rocks. This was my key technique that I caught all my keepers on, I was only able to bring 3 to the scales. I also lost two nice smallmouth on a sneak head chatterbait, this bait also produced a few smaller fish.
