With this Front that made its way here Saturday night. The winds have kicked up to about 15mph. The bite has slowed down and bigger bass have pushed back into deeper water. My best luck has been at points and the mouths of canals were the water drops off deeper. LV500s and or any other type of lipess have been great at these points. The smaller fish are still shallow and having great luck throwing the Xzone Swammer in 309 Color. Paired that up with a Coolbaits underspin 1/4oz 3/0 hook has been the ticket. Slow rolling on the bottom. Both of these baits have been producing for me the last 2 days. Once this front passes I think the bass should start moving back shallow and feed more aggressive on bigger baits.

The weather here bas been a little crazy the last 2 weeks. We had a warm trend that lasted for almost a week, Air temps were almost in the 90s. Then we had a front move in again with windy and some rain. I'm still finding bass shallow and deep. Fish are spread out and staging on points of canals and drops off. I been having best luck throwing a megabass v3 spinnerbait and Luckycraft LV500 in the mornings. Using the spinnerbait to target the bass shallow and the LV on points, deeper grass lines and drop offs. Later in the mornings and early afternoons I been having great luck Texas rigging a Xzone Adrenaline craw (green pumpkin blue flek ) on a 3/8 weight. Targeting the same places but slow crawling it and letting those floating craws do there thing. A simple but soft shake to the rod tip has also been working too. But once again we have another front coming in 3/7/21 and cooler temps and high winds. Lets see what happens and how these fish react and stage in the next few days

So this front came in super strong. Winds blowing 10-20mph. Blue bird skies and air temps around 49. This is cold for our FL bass. I started out throwing a lucky craft LV500 around local docks and points having great luck in morning. As the day went out I switch to a megabass SV3 1/2oz spinnerbait and got my largest out of the day 4lbs. Once again targeting docks, points, and drop offs. Surprisingly the fish were very active and aggressive. Smoking both the LV500 and spinnerbait. I also played around throwing a xzone lures swammer ( 309 color )with a hogfarmer underspin with great success also. I suspect there's still plenty of bass getting ready to spawn and a majority of them caught today where super fat. Next few days should be even better as temps rise again.
