I had some spots picked out offshore on main lake but the wakeboard boats and jet skis were so bad we couldn’t stay out there. Managed to find a small cove protected from the wake and found a few small fish feeding on Shad. Managed to get two on a weightless fluke and had a couple more followers. Still had a lot of fun despite the lack of fish and wakeboarders. It was hot so we had some fun swimming.

I've found it common for them to be on the tops of trees offshore in the summertime feeding on shad balls. Trees were in 30 ft but 15ft tall, so run your crankbait at 15ft just ticking the top and they come out and smash it every time. Deep offshore points with trees and islands.
