Fished the Potomac river near the mouth of the Monocacy river. Fish were stacked in the eddy at the tail of main river islands chasing fry.

Mattawoman Creek off the Potomac river produced well today throwing swim jigs with keitech paddle tails and working them through submerged grass. A few others were caught off of baby one minus crank baits and wacky rigged senkos, but the swim jig was the best producer.

Throwing shallow diving crank baits through the tops of submerged vegetation in Mallows Bay off of the Potomac river. 2 snakeheads and 7 large mouth over the span of about 3hrs in the AM. Today was our first outing this season where the snakeheads were actively chasing lures.
