I had been using a Shimano SLX DC and decided to buy the Curado DC. Glad I did, while it was a slow day fishing, I gave the Curado a good workout. To me anyway, this reel is easer to cast, and smoother, Just simply a nicer reel.

Fishing in the rain during prespawn for most species. Used a large swimbait and hooked up on the opposite end of the shoreline above some submerged grass. 41” Long about 20 Pounds
