Trout are difficult to come by, but there is a chance at a GIANT. Caught a 27 inch rainbow through the ice on a jig and plastic and others have caught a few 12-15 inchers. There is also a pretty good chance at catching small Perch or other panfish and a bass if you get lucky. Tip-ups with small minnows or small jigs and plastics/waxies seem to do well for trout. Focus on the deeper water areas by the dam, but keep your bait on the shallow side. If your tip-up is in 10 feet, set your bait to 5 feet since the trout tend to roam a lot. Good luck!

When they stock the trout in Red House, the best fishing is by the dam. They like to hover over deep water so that's your best bet in April. Try to cover as much water as possible with a moving bait like a spinner. #omniaattheclassic
