    Evening bite is hot! After the solar eclipse, the fish were closed lip. This evening was a different story. We caught at least 30 fish in 30+ feet of water using the NED. Fall in these desert lakes are better in the afternoon / evening. The fish were hitting it on the fall and on the bottom. I use a 1/10oz Ned head to keep it on top of the grass.

    Fished the Kayak Fishing Utah State Championship on Oct 3rd 2020 and Oct 4th 2020. Drop Shot was the technique. Caught 5 LMB prefishing on Oct. 2nd, 3 LMB on tourney day 1 and 2 on tourney day 2. I had several fish jump off my board into the water, so my numbers surpassed my tournament results.

    Fish are deep. 30 foot. Fish the ledges and we caught some good fish. Finesse drop shot techniques work best. Light flourocarbon line seems to get more bites.
