Bass were located in deeper water at around 40-45', and schooled up near humps. Bass were caught deadsticking, and very slowly dragging a hazedong shad about 12-16" above the weight. Bites were extremely light making a very sensitive rod a must.

Water temps are in the low 50s and water level in lake is down. Fished PB&J Zman Hula Sticks on a 1/15 oz Nedlocks with very slow presentation. Water was slightly stained with about 10 feet of visibility. Fish were fairly deep, sitting in areas near ledges, that held some vegetation/grass. Fish presentation very slow, the bite is extremely subtle and mushy. You will need a very sensitive rod, such as the Dobyns Champion Extreme DX742SF, to feel those really subtle bites. I like to use a very long leader given the visibility, a good 12 to 15 feet of leader to my braid. Fish aren't as deep as the 40 ft depth mark, but look for them to continue to push out as temperatures drop. As we move into the winter bite, the bass will hover near ledges and south facing rocks that warm in the sun during the day.
