Fish were tucked under laydowns along the bank. If the trees had vegetation and bluegill in the area they would hold more then one fish.

Fish were found in 15 to 25 foot of water. Pitching a drop shot on the edge of larger chunk rock was a key factor. Fish would also eat a jig on bottom but did not prefer a ton of action. A slow drag and a trailer with subtle kick was the most effective.
