Caught largemouth around reed patches that were out away from shore, and on some lily pads adjacent to these reeds. Reeds on shore or pads by themselves didn’t hold near as many fish. Caught a few on a swim jig but frogs caught the majority, mostly the Booyah popping pad crasher and the Scumfrog.

Caught a few fish on a drop shot with a 4” dinger wacky rigged on the deep weed edge. Used the Mustad alpha-grip finesse hook 1/0 Omnia sent me to try out. Hooks are real sharp and I like that it’s a beefier finesse hook that does not bend easy. It kept all 3 fish hooked that I caught on the drop shot today. I also caught several quality fish on the full sized Booyah toad runner fishing shallow scattered weeds.
