Mid-morning kayak trip. Dead summer has made the bite slow. Working boringly slow drop shots along the humps and vegetation lines was the most effective. Bass were keying in on smaller baitfish. Tested out the weedless Mustad Alpha point drop shot hooks for this trip. Hook is sticky and weedguard is a good mixture of preventing snags while not interfering with the hookset.
