I have found that the bass are chasing bluegills in the weeds. It’s a very clear lake so the weeds grow out to 15 feet. I find the drop off and cast in towards the weeds. I flick shake the stick baits down. Waiting for a couple seconds and quickly snap the rod. Reel up slack and let the bait drop. By doing this it creates a reaction strike. Caught a lot of 1-2 pound bass and one that was 4.40 pounds. I don’t even use the big motor. Just start trolling from the access and stay in the 10-4 foot range. Good luck and tight lines.
