Was casting into the shallows and retrieving it slowly over the weeds. Trying to find shallow fish maybe still on beds. Went next to docks and some Lilly pads fishing water under 5ft

Was fishing a weed edge from 5 to 8 feet of water dragging the crankbait through and over the weeds. Looking for staging bass in the weeds. Caught occasional northern pike as well.
