Fish were grouped up in slack water eddys feeding consistently on baits with passive action worked very slowly on hard bottoms. Passive action of the TicklerZ allowed for minute current to make them move while keeping the bait relatively still and in the strike zone longer. The recent cold front has the smallmouth in full on winter mode with water temps dropping into the high 30s.

Made a trip out to the Susquehanna River to fish a wintering area where the smallmouth bass have been piling into during the past month. The water was between 39 and 42 degrees so we had to fish slow with with a G-Man ballin out jig and a zman trd ticklerz feathering the baits with the current to get to the fish sitting behind boulders in the deeper water between 10-20'. The a-rig loaded up with 3"zman Minnowz also got the job done in the afternoon when the sun got up and warmed the water column some.
