Fish ranged from 12-40' in standing timber near the main river channel. The most active bite was around the 15' mark on the bottom. You could get some that were suspended to bite but the ones that were hugging the bottom were far more active. Using LiveScope to scan and find fish was a must for this technique.

Steady bite in standing timber near the main river channel. Water depth ranged from 20-40 foot. The active fish were suspended at 15'. I found that a quick hop of your jig when they were reluctant to strike would trigger them. LiveScope was crucial for knowing where the trees that held fish were located at.
