The males were cruising up shallow with the females on the first break line. It was very strange, the females appeared to be full of eggs and not blemished at all despite the water being in the low 70s, there were fry up shallow, so some had definitely spawned, but not all I guess. Broke off on a good one on a brush pile.

Females had dumped eggs and were staged around weedlines the first offshore structure near spawning areas. Bucks were up shallow guarding fry. Caught several nice fish on a frog early, then caught the rest on a chatterbait and flipping.
