Hands down the best way to catch largemouth and smallmouth at Vulcan lake is the dropshot. The water here is extremely clear so light line is also essential. Simply walk the banks or rent a boat and fish a dropshot and you are bound to catch em here. I prefer the KVD Dream Shot in green pumpkin but any baitfish presentation on a dropshot will work.

Reel the glidebaits SLOW over grass. The fish can see for a mile. Use straight fluorocarbon. Occasionally give the bait a snap snap for a reaction strike! Caught a nice 3 lb bass doing this! (Lost a 36” pike...)
