The curly leaf pondweed is thick and to the surface out to 14' which forces the fish to the deep weedline. Caught them on a dropshot and a chatterbait worked slow and deep.

Hooked up on a number of decent largies and pike on the weed lines into deeper water. Drop offs from 8-12 ft were the ticket using a chatterbait or a dark sleeper. Frog bite was also working in the early evening walking a popping frog in the milfoil mats and lilypads.
