Lots of fish popping all around. We chose to target bass and northern against the weed edges. This year it’s around that 11ft mark. Previous years we had a lot of luck when the weeds were out to about 14ft. Every year is a bit different.

Slow, hot summer day. Caught all my fish on a drop shot with a 4.5” Robo worm / VMC Finesse Neko hook, senko and a Neko Rig casting to weed edges near deeper water. Slow and patience were key.
