Deps, gain element. So this is a brand new rod to us. That's right, it's just one rod, but it's for scoping, and it's for the Sakamata Shad. And we can't get enough Sakamata Shad's. It is the hottest technique on the market, and this is a rod designed by the manufacturer of the most popular minnow for it, four shake in the minnow. This particular model is a 6.5 light regular bend or moderate action. It is designed, as I said right here, is the light shaking element. It is designed for the smaller size minnows. The four inch Sakamata Shad is smaller than most other four inch minnow baits right now. It is quite a bit smaller actually. It's a really finessy little minnow. And then you've got three inch jackal drift rise as well that'll be very popular minnows for that light shaking technique. And this is the rod for it designed by the folks at Deps. I'm really a fan of the handle on this thing. As you can see, it's got slight little hits of some JDM stuff to it with the Deps on the grip there. You got it on the bottom of the rod there. You've got it in a bunch of different spots on the rod here. The thread wraps, if you get up close, there's a lot more detail on them than it looks from afar. At first, the rod kind of looks very understated, which I'm a big fan of, but as you get closer to it, you can see there's more detail on the rod than you'd think. It is incredibly crazy how easy it is to get the tip on this rod to shake. I mean, I just have to impart the slightest bit of action on this rod, and I mean the slightest, and the rod tip shakes like crazy. So this is a perfect rod for someone who's comfortable fishing six pound tests and down. It's rated for three pound to eight pound tests. It's soft. I mean, this thing feels like a panfish rod, but this is the type of stuff that's getting deployed for those smaller minnow techniques and pressure bodies of water. There is another model of this rod coming out soon in a couple months, I'm being told, that is more for like the five and six inch sock amount of shazards that have been even more popular than the really little ones. But if you're becoming a scoping expert and you want a rod specifically designed for shake and a really, really small minnow and a small jig head, check out this rod. It's a pretty unique cool rod from DEPS, the gain element.
