Crappie were 10-20 feet off structure, trees and brush. No success throwing swim baits shallow so I slow trolled (1-1.5 mph) a DT_6 and a yozuri shallow crank bait in a green shad color. Pretty quickly found active fish and pulled in six in about an hour.several fish were fat with eggs prespawn and all released. 9-12” range.

Caesars Creek is on fire! Water is just right. Caught several 12" crappie and a few white bass. Was told the saugeye bite is just as strong as the crappie.
