Lake Erie got a little stingy when it came to catching absolute football-sized smallmouth, so we went back to where we knew green ones would be staging to move up to spawn and caught some flipping timber! The "Lil' Magnum" jig by Beast Coast is emerging as my favorite flipping jig on the market! Hope you check them out!!

Went out with my girlfriend today, and ended up having her target some staging smallmouth off of a deep enbankment. Ended up dropping the Trick Shotz on this girl's head, and she smoked it. Ended up being her PB weighing in at 5.5lbs

I was fishing the cover scat weightless with a Gamakatsu 3/0 Hybrid Worm Hook. Casting along dock pilings and 3' drop off ledges. I have yet to have it bottom when getting bit. It has been a very consistent bait for me. The profile looks like an injured Bluegill (to me at least). Definitely stocking up on these.
