Topwater bite was good in the am. Long casts and long pauses were needed as fish were very wary of boats. Sunny with calm winds made fishing very tough later in the day.

A jerkbait worked with a quick cadence on the first break along weed lines produced consistent fish and quality size. Rapidly hopping jigs also produced fish in the same areas, however with less consistency

Docks
Fishing beds, smaller females have mostly set up with some larger ones locked to beds. Drop shots 4-8" over the bed in bright colors were the trick to trigger the bite. Some fish under docks, on pylons closer to shore.
