Caught lots of bucks up between bank and docks on drop shot and flipping. Bigger females came in the 8-10ft range on brush still staging to spawn. Few females spotted on bed. Larger fish all came on the Ned

Took 2nd place in a little club derby throwing a floating worm and chatter bait on spawning flats. Sight fishing was tough due to being overcast plus stained water but was able to pick up a 4.68 and 3.45. Plenty of males on beds but didn’t see many females yet.

Found smaller males up on the banks in good numbers, larger females are still out deeper staging. Caught males casting to pea gravel banks. Females could be caught shooting docks under floats or could be found out roaming with FFS. Darker colors seemed to work the best for the mid lake area we were in.

Covering water with 1/2oz Head Knocker Buzzbait with X-Toad Trailer, especially early and late in the day, and also shade lines. Key areas are transitions leading in and out of gravel spawning areas. Fish are in all phases of spawn and fry guarding.

Fish are really staging up on the deep humps and main lake points. I believe by the size of our 7.04 we have both prespawn and post spawners. Everything today was caught on a Crockogator Pro HD Shakey head camo 5/8oz with a Zoom Green Pumpkin finesse mag trick worm, tail dipped in Chartreuse. Most fish came either on top earlier 15ft range and as deep as 32ft as the day went on. The above Picture is my partner today Michael Arndt. We bested the field with 17 keepers and our best (5) went 19lbs evening. Great day on the water despite the big boat traffic. Most damage was done in the Glaize arm.

Caught a few of my bigger fish on the Senko. Secondary Points. Wacky Rigged in about 3 feet of water next to boat ramps. Fish are staging near deep water and these points are reloading multiple times throughout the day.

I actually caught a ton of fish on the Xcite baits Heckler. But a Zara Spook should work too. Focus on areas with access to deep water. On secondary points closest to the main lake. If you can find a flat next to a channel swing that helps too. Caught 30 fish on this. Water was clear (10 feet ish) and was in the gravois arm.
