Had over a dozen Largemouth in the boat! Took a bit of time to figure it out. Just started to drop shot on this lake and had great results! Damiki pulled in Large and rockies. And the wacky killed in shallow!

The recent cold front made for some unfavorable fishing conditions; high winds and freezing cold temperatures overnight lowered the water temperature to 50-52 degrees on Saturday. Bass were found inside the weed line on the Northern most end of the lake. Plenty of Bass were caught using an 3/8 ounce Zman Jackhammer in Green Pumpkin with a Green Pumpkin/White Yamamoto Zako trailer. Stay in 3-6 fow and cast into the lighter colored water towards the edge of the submerged vegetation. Weed out the pickerel and you have steady Bass action for hours.

Pitched Texas rigged craws to and wacky worms to weed edges in 5-12 feet of water for good results. Picked up a few on frogs on outer edges of lily pads. Got one decent one on a spinnerbait but it was pickerel candy so I put it down
