Fished boulders and chunk rock on secondary points and rock slides on main lake bluffs with the shakey head. Also got on a good top water bite first thing in the morning.

Cloudy with some rain, good top water bite. And caught a couple on a black and blue spinnerbait. Then drug a green pumpkin shakey head around boulders and chunk rock and caught a few good keepers. I tried a bunch of different baits and caught fish on all of them.

Fished the Anglers In Action tournament on May 21st and ended up with 13.49lbs which put us in 16th place. Caught a few early shallow chasing the shad spawn. The sun got high and with no wind we switched to the shakey head paired with the 7.25" COG worm. Fished main lake points and transition banks.

I got out on Table Rock Lake to practice for the Anglers in Action tournament the following day and was able to find a few bites with a medium diving crank bait just inside main lake points and secondary points. I was also able to get a few bites on top water (whopper plopper and walking bait). Fish were chasing shad and fry.

Yesterday the smallmouth came off flat banks with mixed boulders. They would come off the boulder and hit the Crock-O-Gator Head Knocker buzzbait.

I fished the Anglers in Action tournament and mainly fished in the Kimberling City area of the lake. I was able to catch fish on medium diving crank baits and walking baits just inside main lake points and secondary points that were chasing shad and fry. Weighed in 12lbs and wound up 38th out of 96 boats.
