Yesterday the smallmouth came off flat banks with mixed boulders. They would come off the boulder and hit the Crock-O-Gator Head Knocker buzzbait.

Started out the day fishing for post spawners. Started on a secondary point with a spawning pocket on each side. Fished in 8-16 foot of water with a carolina rigged brush hog. Was able to pull 3 keepers off the secondary point in about 15 minutes. Also caught 2 out of brush piles on the point on a 2.8in Keitech in Smallmouth Magic. I then moved to catch other post-spawners in the tops of trees. I was able to catch 3 keepers doing this watching them with livescope. Ran these two patterns all day. Overall, I had about 7 keepers on the day.

Fished boulders and chunk rock on secondary points and rock slides on main lake bluffs with the shakey head. Also got on a good top water bite first thing in the morning.

Cloudy with some rain, good top water bite. And caught a couple on a black and blue spinnerbait. Then drug a green pumpkin shakey head around boulders and chunk rock and caught a few good keepers. I tried a bunch of different baits and caught fish on all of them.
