Water is still cold high 40s to low 50s, but warming fast. Fish are staging up to points and flats with submerged grass. Points and any thick grass clumps are the high percentage places. Throwing a McStick 110 above the grass, working it very slow with long pauses. Numbers of fish are great, bigger fish are hard to come by

Summer time on this little lake can get tough, escpecially with how clear it is. Get out therer early and fish 15+ ft deep off of the points, humps and the dam. A trimmed up, compact 1/2 football jig with a craw trailer is a straight up bite getter. If you get in an area with submerged vegetation try a Carolina rig with a creature bait to keep you lure above the grass. Again use good fluoro because the lake is super clear

Bluegill
When the water is 60-70 degrees the fish going to full spawn mode. The banks are littered with bluegills, roaming bass, and bass locked on a bed. The whole shoreline along the lake has fish this time of year. Taking a wacky rig weightless you can catch big numbers of fish this time of year. This is a great time to take friends for a short trip and catch a ton of fish on a easy technique with no skill required.

When the water is 50-60 in this ultra clear little reservoir, the largemouth are in pre-spawn mode. Some of the best days I've ever had where with a small Jerkbait like the Megabass bass 110 jr or the Strike King KVD 200. The fish will be moving towards their spawning coves. The entire shoreline of the small lake is fishable, but the key areas are the points leading into the coves. Grab a small jerkbait, use 6-8lb test and go have some fun
