East Boji had low water and the docks that had just a little bit deeper water on them held the better quality fish. Biggest was a 5.25. The majority of the bites were deep under the docks. The reel was the most important product for this. I used the Lew's Pro Skip and Pitch Speed Spool reel to skip as far back under each dock as possible. The larger spool hleps to minimize backlashes. The Strike King rodent was important and another big key was using a lead half ounce weight instead of a tungsten. The lead skips a little bit better. Color wise I sed black and blue because the water color was considerably more dirty on East Boji than West.

I had a very good tournament flippin a craw-tube around. I was fortunate enough to win the tbf- regional tournament as a co qualifying me for nationals. I was getting beat flipping a jig around behind my boater day one and when I switched to a craw-tube them northern strains went cray-cray. Didn't get a ton of bites but they were the right quality.
