Long pauses seemed to work best 4-5 sec. Deeper points with grass were the ticket!

Wind blown points in 8-10 fow. We’re the ticket! better bites came off points with some grass on them. 1-2 sec pauses on the jerk bait.

Fished a big bass tournament and numbers were excellent but the big bass eluded me. This 16.75 was good enough to get in the money though. Almost all my fish were caught on the jackhammer throwing at docks. I probably caught 40 fish during the day. Nothing very big. Everything 14-16 inches.

During the pre-spawn to spawn transition the channels and cuts become populated with largemouth bass. Starting at the mouths and working through the channels slowly paying attention to water temperature as fish will tend to spawn early on this lake and with clear water you will be able to see them on there beds
