Spots were schooled up just over wooded cover at the bottom of bluff walls. A crankbait that went right over them seemed to be the ticket.

Post Spawn is usually a funky time in fishing down south, but can be great. This year on Dale Hollow there were several tournaments in a row that we placed high using an old school post spawn technique... Floating a worm. Using a bright color Zoom worm on slightly beefed up tackle texas rigged weightless. Fishing Spawning coves, flats and pockets with any wood structure the fish can recover beside. It is a very exciting way to fish, bring your heart pills!!!
