First time ever throwing a Neko rig. Used spear point dropshot hooks and a bass pro squirmin worm with a tungsten nail weight. Just hopped it along the bottom slowly and felt this little guy pick it up. I also threw this on top of a large female sitting on a bed and she took it. Fought her for about 15 seconds but was using too light of tackle and she spit the hook.

I had a few hours to go fishing before a storm was supposed to come through. So, I went and put in at Honeycomb. I saw a bunch of seagulls and loons that were diving in a little cut. I pulled in there and started throwing the chatterbait evo with an STC Sniper Pro on the back. I caught 5 or 6 decent fish, including a couple of 3s. I pulled out a little deeper once that bite died and started throwing a light Arig so I could keep it above the grass and caught a 4 lber and some spots that were roaming the area. Tried a jerbait but got no bites on it. Got off the water just before 12.

Caught a solid limit of smallmouth and largemouth fishing windblown points with deeper water nearby. Covering shallow water with a square bill then fishing down to 10 feet with the RkCrawler cleaned them up quite nicely!

I fished a club tournament with my brother. The night before it stormed and the wind was predicted to blow as the day went along. We started in a small creek and worked our way back. We caught a lot of non keepers around the grass with chatterbaits. Finally, I got towards the last break before the flats and landed a 3.6 lber. Unfortunately, the high-schoolers decided to come straight for the area after seeing it. We decided to go to another area. On the way there, I got a feeling to hit a row of docks with grass around them with a break in 8-10 ft. We chatterbaited around with no success, but my brother picked up the A-rig and caught a keeper. From then on, I locked the rig in my hand. I used a lighter A-rig with 1/8 oz heads a Scottsboro Tackle 3 inch swimbaits so I could keep it above the grass. I started catching 3 lb class fish. A few of them already looked spawned out. We just kept working that stretch back and forth until the wind picked up and blew the floating eel grass in. We ended up with 14.5 lbs.

Started out just goofing off with my Lowrance Active Target and the A-rig around a creek mouth catching a bass around bait balls and the river channel drop off. When the big ones I was seeing weren't biting, I decided to go shallow and check some areas that the fish start getting up shallow in on the lower end of the lake. Caught some males then decided to pull out to the first break and immediately caught the 6 lber pictured on a Chatterbait Evo with a Scottsboro Tackle Sniper Pro 4.25 inch. The Evo with the Sniper Pro as a trailer just dances under the water. Check some other areas and never could find more females, just the males that are up shallow. Lake is currently a little low.

Delta is finally warming up! The underspin chartreuse was the bait of choice. Water clarity is about 12”. The new mastiff fluorocarbon worked beautifully.

Spots were moving along the bottom of creeks between brush piles. Using FFS to target fish once they had left the brush pile to move to another. Had to basically hit em on the head with it to get em to bite.

There starting to come closer into the shore. The best time rn is just before dark they get super active and eat. During the day it's best for slow baits.

Fish were still on beds and roaming up shallow. They tend to bed very shallow on this lake from what I've seen. I caught one on a bed close to 5lbs with the popping Berkley Swamp Lord. Another 4-5 pounder ate the Slobberknocker bladed jig as I feathered it slowly over a shallow flat with sparse grass.
