My partner and I finished out our bass club league tournament season this weekend with our two day classic. We ended up in 3rd place and big bass. We finished day one in 5th place at 3 pounds back from the lead. Day two we gained a ton of ground after figuring out the pattern late on the 1st day. All of our quality bites came from flat sided crankbaits right up against the grass edges on main lake points. It was extremely windy both days which I feel was a major factor in having them set up on main lake points because 60 degree water temps in the fall post turnover would make you think they would be moving farther back in the creeks. In the two days we caught 5 fish between 3-4 pounds, 3 more over 4 and one 6 pounder.
