Smallies are LOADED up in Trego flowage in the fall once the water drops into the 50s. This weekend they were schooled up around shallow sand. If the sand was near any structure.. like reeds, grass, some gravel there was a high percentage chance of smallies being there. They also were caught around some of the larger docks on the lake. A green pumpkin TRD tickler was the hot bait all weekend. Bass went crazy for it as they were foraging on Crayfish and small baitfish.
