Introducing the ultimate finesse setup for targeting big bass and walleye—Z-Man Jerk ShadZ paired with the game-changing Core Tackle Hover Rig! The 1/8oz Core Tackle hover jig head with a 3/0 hook buries inside your soft plastic, delivering unmatched natural action. Unlike standard jig heads that dive head-first, this design keeps your bait suspended for a realistic, irresistible presentation. Tested and proven on Wapogasset Lake, this setup dominated rocky humps and weedy structures in 10-20 feet of water. With or without forward-facing sonar, you can hover just above cover and trigger aggressive strikes. A simple steady retrieve with light jerks is all it takes to land quality fish. Don’t sleep on this setup—it’s the only rig you’ll need for a full day of action. Upgrade your game with the Core Tackle Hover Rig and Z-Man Jerk ShadZ today!

Absolutely smashed em on SECRET COLOR NED. Fish would not touch any other color but would destroy the perch color Ned Zone. If you are fishing this lake buy a few packs of that color. We were actually sight fishing a couple hours of tournament day and watched fish turn from other colors and baits.

I was catching largemouth fishing over deep submerged vegetation letting the bait drop into the weeds and fishing the edges. It didn’t matter if I fished it slow or fast. 7’2 StCroix legend glass rod, Abu Garcia Revo STX with 10 lb Pline tactical fluorocarbon line.

First time ever fishing Wisconsin and had a blast! Lost count around 60 or 70. All fish except for a small amount came off the Picasso dock rocket jig. Didn’t matter how you fished the jig, get it around the rock and you will get bit.

Most of my fish came winding a modified Thundercricket with a Bojangles baits Z-Daddy fit a trailer. As I was going along if I saw a laydown or brush pile with my FFS I would flip a home made arky style jig with a Z-Daddy on it to those. That one two punch worked well thought the day.

I erratically fished lipless crankbait along riprap and over rocky humps and points. I also caught walleye and smallmouth bass using this same bait. Followup baits included a Chatterbait with a Strike King Caffeine Shad trailer and a biffle-head with a Berkley Max Scent Creature Hog to work the bottom.

Before the wind became too strong fished docks along the southern shore. Once the wind was too strong for docks I moved out to fish rock humps using a ZMan chatterbait with a Lake Fork trailer.

Fished this small private lake and it had a ton of largemouth bass all around 1 pound. Was able to catch fish flipping jigs at laydowns and shallow structure. Water is super clear and was able to sight fish most of the bass.
