This river is tough so the best bet is to go into the tributaries like Deep Creek. You may not get a lot of size but you will get a good mix in the 14 to 18.5 range and plenty of 11-12's Best bet is a KVD Fitness Spin, if that stops working switch to a Senko in Baby Bass or a swim jig in pumpkin with a Berkley Chigger craw trailer.

Well I would love to say I did great, but this tournament bit me. The baits I am suggesting are from the guys I fished with that did great and cought multiple over 17" The morning was a KVD double willow Super White Spinnerbait but The magic bait was the Evergreen Grass Ripper swim Jig in green pumpkin with a green pumpkin Berkley chigger craw trailer. I was throwing chatter baits in the same area and getting small ones or no bites or sneakheads, while the swim jig was catching good bass left and right. A buddy caught 1 and then another on the next cast using that bait right in front of me. I thought I knew it all so my stuborness wouldnt let me give in and switch so they lapped me. They each had Baby Bass clored back up baits and as well a pumpkin neds on the ready for when they missed a strike and that cought them as well. Lesson learned was be humble and use what is working not what you think should be working. Pic is of my sad largest. lol

Very presssued but very cattchable fish. Keep grinding, you'll get there. Caught my PB on this lake fineness fishing with a wacky rig under trees.

Lums pond is the largest freshwater pond in Delaware near the largest metropolitan area in Delaware hence being a very pressured; very active body of water. Only have I heard stories of 5 - 6lbers being caught here years ago. I highly recommend going straight up finesse gear and tackle year round.
