The fish just finished spawning, and are hanging out a little deeper! Slow rolling a chatterbait is the way to go!

There is a lot of shad in Shelbyville, match the hatch! The fish were transitioning from their spawning areas, towards deeper water

Never found a solid pattern on this outing. I caught a 14 on a deep crank on a drop off, a fat pre spawn 19 on a main-lake point with a half ounce flipping jig and this nice healthy 20.25 fishing a bluegill colored jackhammer around bluegill beds I found on sidescan. Filled the rest of my limit with a shad patten jackhammer

Great trip! I thought 16 bass in 5hrs! Swim jig over matted weeds and if they missed the swim jig I followed up with a Neko rig! Hookup ratio on a frog was bad

I was fishing this like a jerk bait with a EWG hook and small nail weight, give it a few twitches and then pause the bait and the bass would destroy this lure.

Most of my bites came off the fall, I'd cast up to the reeds then slowly work it away from the reeds and get soft bites on it.

Caught this nice largie fishing some grass about 10-15 feet off shore from my kayak. Texas rigging a ribbon tail worm is a great way to get finicky fish to bite in the summer.

Caught this nice 3lb largemouth from the shore. Fishing for panfish under docks with a little crappie jig. Fish seemed to be taking cover in shade to avoid the sun.

Stumps
Caught this one off the stumps by the floating docks. Careful of the snag! If you can keep your vibrating jig above the stumps, the bass will bite every time.
