We’re excited to announce the addition of Matt Hamilton as our new Head of Marketing. We’re kind of embarrassed to report that marketing has been conducted by committee through this rapid revenue and user growth (props to our agency KC Truth) and no one owns the marketing role. It’s time to bring in the right person to lead the Omnia organization in all things marketing. We’re excited to introduce Matt Hamilton.
Matt Hamilton has over 18 years of experience in marketing and eCommerce and comes to Omnia Fishing after leading the digital marketing function at HomeSpotter, a Minnesota software startup acquired by Lone Wolf Technologies in 2021. He has extensive experience in performance marketing and leveraging data to create personalized experiences for customers using push, email and in-app messaging. His heavy analytics background make him a great fit for where we’re headed in innovations in product and technology, creator content and engagement, and a world-class ecommerce experience for all anglers.
Hamilton enjoys fishing for walleye during trips to northern Minnesota Lakes and spending time paddling in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. As a father of 2 aspiring anglers, he also reports that he has gained extensive experience adding worms to hooks and detangling lines.
He holds a BA, Communications Wheaton College, but we’re more impressed with walleye fishing and Boundary Waters Canoe Area things.
