You like skipping docks? Well, check this thing out. This is Randy Howell's Tatula Elite that's specifically designed for skipping. It is a 6'9" heavy power, fast action rod. It's designed to get a jig underneath a dock or underneath overhanging cover anyway by skipping and get that fish out of there. Now, the reason why it's a 6'9" is to aid anglers that aren't super tall. When they roll cast or drop the rod down to skip with it, they're not hitting the water or the top of the boat. So if you're a shorter angler, this is a rod that'll aid you in skipping. Now, you don't need to be short to use this one. In fact, I got a buddy who's the exact same height as me that prefers this rod when it comes to skipping. He likes to get real tight up on those docks and that shorter rod allows him to be a little bit more accurate when he's really, really trying to get far back into some tight spaces on a dock.

Now, this thing's got tons of power, so it allows you to run some big line on here because when you're going into the jungle, you want to have some big line to make sure you get that fish out of there. So hence the heavy power, but it's got enough tip on it to still be accurate with your skips. So if you're looking for a skipping rod to do some damage and you're not seven feet tall and you want a short rod to not hit the water with, check out the Randy Howell 6'9" Skippin' rod.

Bam, this thing is just like some of the pitching sticks we'd bent, it takes no time to get into the backbone of this rod and it really doesn't. You really can just, as soon as you go to set the hook, you're into the meat of this rod. So really, really fast action on this, but lots of power for such a lightweight short rod. It can be used for a lot more than skipping. This could even be a short pitching stick or just a jig fishing rod for going down the bank. (upbeat music)
