All right, we're jumping down one more notch to the Grace 210 Alves.Tell me a little bit about these two.You showed me a video real quickly of you in Eastern Pada Gil, I'll throw it in a rounda little bit.And the action on these things is really unique.Unique is probably the best way to describe it.And I think it was definitely one I kind of slept on right away because I didn't understandit. And I think anybody is throwing that tiny clash or something like that, that's probablythe most easy way to understand the bait as far as it can do a lot of different thingsdepending how you tune it.But that's where it ends because it's completely different bait. You've got a triple joint and I think the biggest thing to understand is the leaf tailon it, which was kind of confusing to me at first. But that tail's wagging independently of the rest of the bait.So you're getting a very unique swimming action out of this bait. And there's a couple of different retreats guys are doing. The biggest thing is swim baiting is more than just gliding and what not, I mean look ata chitech, that's not a glide bait. And right away I see the bill.So am I real in this thing like a crank bait when I'm reeling it in?You can.You can.And it's going to swim and what's cool about the bait is you can actually really workat high speeds. So whether you're fishing rip wrap or swimming or doing a herring deal over some suspendedfish, you can work the bait really fast. But I think the other thing to note is how slow you can work the bait. And you're seeing those guys in Japan utilizing that full range. You know, you tap the bait almost like lighter than you would a jerk bait and it's dog walkingor head walking. So that's getting that head to just go back and forth, almost like it's tail fin brokeor something. And making that bait look injured but it's keeping that bait in the strike zone longerwith that bill, right? No bill when you move the bait it's wanting to move forward. And as you know in cold water or you know negative fishing conditions, keeping that baitin the strike zone is everything. And I think that's one thing very unique about the bait. But you can also take that bill out and make it glide. You can take that tail off and you can actually put a 240 tail on this bait and fish it likea small glide. You can utilize those joint pads to tighten up these joints as well. But I think if I were you I would definitely play with some of these unique swim bait retrievesbecause the bass obviously I haven't seen it before.I gave this bait to a guy down on the cross last fall and I've never seen a guy call me soexcited after that.So like some of the videos it was it's almost a mix between a strolling bait and a glidebait.Like it's still got that swim and glide but then you got the head knock and rolling actionto it.It's it's it's almost hard to describe with words on how the actual bait is moving. And that's why I hate saying tiny clash because of baits in its own category and it's beenreally hot over in Japan. But I think swim bait there's a lot more to swim baits than I think we previously thinkthere is.And I think having a bait that's once again tunable. So if you're let's say going down a lacrosse or you know working wherever you might be nextto a rip wrap bank wanting those fish to come up on a bait, right? And then clouds might come in and those fish might suck to bottom and you might have towork that bait a little deeper on them.Well you don't need to die on a new bait. You just grab that deep diving lip, pop it in there and start I mean you could literallygrind a rip wrap with the big bait.So now you're cranking I mean you remember Paul Nick on Okachobi last year.Yeah.I think he could have won that tournament on this bait alone because he could have fisheda crank bait, a glide bait and a dot like eight different things on one spot.Just a lot of cool stuff here with that bait but I think there's a lot to be learned andI think if you're wanting to try a bait that's not only going to get you a lot of bites buta bait that can do things that no other bait can do, that's the one to work on.Without the lip, think of a very erratic, right? So when you have a tail like this on a bait like this it does add drag.So I mean as far as an erratic dog walk, you're getting a much more erratic bait withoutthe lip as well.So I think there's really no limits to what this bait can do and that's why it's the hottestbait in Japan for its category which it's kind of defined its own category. So super sharp owner hooks on it and the biggest thing that waggle of this tail, I overlookedit because you watch that bait swim, it's got a cadence to it and then that tail is freefrom that cadence. This is something I think like the elite guys, you're going to see some of the more advancedanglers really understanding this bait but it's something that's very easy to work.So the best advice I can give you when you're working a bait like this is what it would usuallytake to make the bait do its thing, it's going to take about at least half as much effortor input from the angler to get it to walk, I mean to get it to dog walk, I mean you barelytap and slack on your line and that thing's so quick and sweet. And what's nice about this bait is you don't need a new rod, reel, line, you throw it onyour standard bass tackle so yeah and then the other thing, the guys are putting these intocover, I mean a wood bait or a certain baits, those guys are so scared to put it undera dock because they don't want to break a 400 dollar lure.I guess Noah showed me his 240 and I thought I put mine through a lot.So these baits will take abuse, so if you're fishing cover, if you're fishing docks, don'tbe afraid to put this bait there, you're probably not going to break it, well you can break itprobably but it's not going to break as easily as somebody. Some other baits, so this is the Grace 210L from Galapagos, they're not another one theylike it, folks.
