All right, in this video, we're going to be showing you how to tie commonly known as the Fisherman's Knot or the Trilene Knot or the Improved Clinch Knot. Kind of goes for all three of those names. We're going to be using this carabiner as our lure, this white string as our fluorocarbon. This is not a knot recommended for braided line. It will slide out, so this is for fluorocarbon or monofilament. What we're going to start with is we're going to take our fluorocarbon or mono, we're going to pass it through the eye of the bait. Like this, you want to leave yourself a nice tag end. You're going to pinch your tag, hold it, and then you're going to wrap it six to eight times. So one, two, three, four, five, six. Now you've got your tag end, you've got this loop down here. You're going to pass your tag end through the loop, and now you've got this loop here. You're going to go back through, pass it through this one, bring it down. If you're using fluorocarbon or monofilament, get it wet first, so put your mouth like that, and then you're just going to pull and cinch it down. Very simple knot, more beginner knot than anything else. And again, this is only for monofilament or fluorocarbon, but that is the Improved Clinch Knot or Fisherman's Knot. (soft music)
