Mega Bass Orochi X10. This one here is the bearing down. 6'9" medium heavy fast action. This one is one of the ones out of the whole bunch that I picked up and said, "I like this one." This one feels super light. It came in at 4.2 ounces. I kid you not, it is the most balanced one of the bunch that I picked up, even with a little titula 80 on it of mine. This thing feels like insanely lightweight. It feels alive. It's exactly what it sounds like it's made for. This feels like a little jig rod. It feels like a rod I'd pick up a lot for a lot of applications. But it's listed as like a jig rod and a Texas rig rod, like a bottom contact rod. It feels pretty powerful. It feels more powerful than a medium, heavy to be honest to you. For a lot of the rods I've been bending of late, this one feels a little bit on the almost heavier side power wise. It is a really fast action. We're least bending it on the floor, or we're just a line on it. But that's why we have the wall back here. Let's go see the action on the 6'9, medium heavy, fast action, Rochi X10 bearing down. All right, here I am with the Rochi X10. This is the bearing down that 6'9 rod. And it is, wow, I love, and I'm not just saying it 'cause obviously we're doing this on the wall. I love how much this story this wall tells versus what the floor does, or just put line on it, bend it in your hand. This rod felt way faster than it looks on here, and it felt way more powerful too till I go to set the hook on it. This is a medium heavy, and I would call it, a fast action, but not super, super fast as it felt like when I was bending on the floor. So this would be ideal for not just you straight floral anglers, but anglers like me that like to fish this type of rod for those techniques with braid to a liter. Plenty of softer tip action for that nice liter not there to not blow up on you as you're cracking pretty hard with a short rod like this. I think this rod could do a whole bunch more than just be a Texas rig or a jig rod. I could see even fishing like a buzz bait on straight, braid around docks and stuff like that with this thing. I could see fishing a frog on this thing. If you look for a short little frog rod around docks, it's still got tons of power. It's on still even is on the heavier side of a medium heavy in my opinion, but it's much more medium heavy than it felt with just straight line on just bending on the floor. It felt pretty stiff. This is a pretty cool rod here. It feels light, feels alive. If you're looking for a close quarters battle rod that's got some backbone that you could do a bunch of big hook stuff with and big line stuff with, check out this one here. This is the bearing down, 6'9" medium heavy, fast action, Rochi 10x. (upbeat music) (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
