Daiwa Luvias ST Spinning Reel Features:
- Monocoque (MQ) Body: Improves the strength of the reel and water resistance while allowing a larger diameter drive gear to be installed.
- Tough DigiGear: A further evolution of its predecessor (Digigear), Tough DigiGear is Daiwa's new digitally designed, machine-cut gearing system that ensures ultimate precision, rotational smoothness, and strength.
- Long Cast ABS (LC-ABS): Compared to conventional spools, the LC-ABS has been shown to increase the average flight distance by 5% due to reduced weight and modified shape.
- Air Bail: Designed with a smaller diameter to reduce weight while still providing strength. Weight is reduced by 33% and the angle of the bail has been altered, improving line management by guiding the line through the line roller with ease.
- Air Rotor: Newly developed rotor maintains strength while significantly reducing weight up to 16%.
- Air Spool: New spool skirt design to further reduce weight and improve oscillation with less resistance for a better overall balance of the reel.
