Daiwa Prorex MQ LT Spinning Reel Features:

• Monocoque (MQ): MQ Body takes reel design to the next level. The MQ system does not require a body cover, instead it uses an engine plate to screw directly to the body. Eliminating the need for screws to hold a body cover in place. MQ body improves the strength of the reel; it also improves the water-resistance of the body and allows a larger diameter drive gear to be installed.
• Long Cast ABS: Compared to conventional spools, the LC-ABS has been shown to increase the average flight distance by approx. 5% due to its reduced weight and modified shape.
• Air Bail: Designed with a smaller diameter, reducing the weight of the front unit, while still providing strength. In comparison to previous lightweight models, the weight is reduced by 33% (2500 size). The angle of the bail has also been altered, improving line management by guiding the line through the line roller with ease.
• Air Rotor: A newly developed Rotor maintains the strength of previous designs, while significantly reducing weight; a 16% weight reduction from previous lightweight models allows for trouble-free, flawless rotation.
• AirDrive Spool: A new spool skirt design to further reduce weight for improved oscillation, less resistance during rotation, and better overall balance of the reel.
