The Shimano Poison Adrena Rods have been brought back into the market and with new advancements in technology, the rods have exceeded expectations. Each rod blank is wrapped with Shimano’s Spiral X Core to increase the strength and sensitivity of the rod. Shimano spared no expense when putting Fuji Stainless Steel SiC-S K-Type guides and the Titanium SiC tip guide results in unequaled performance and sensitivity.

Shimano Poison Adrena Casting Rod Technologies:

• CI4+ Reel Seat: Lighter and higher strength than conventional resin material, CI4+ is an advanced version of the original CI4 material. 2.5 times stiffer than the original and increases sensitivity and reduces weight.
• Full Carbon Monocoque Grip: Hollow carbon construction eliminates the use of EVA, resulting in a very lightweight construction, which is also more sensitive. Compared to the normal Carbon Monocoque Grip the sensitivity has increased by 28%.
  
• Nanopitch: Blanks are tightened and pressurized, resulting in a higher circularity and contributing to greatly improved overall rod strength.
• Spiral X Core: The newest and most advanced exclusive Shimano blank construction.
